Patch 1.0.1 is live adding two new levels, three levels of difficulty and eight Commendation Awards to every level. Let's take a closer look.
New training levels
Since it can be a little overwhelming to patrol a full scale house in your first game, we've added a smaller training yard at the fire station.
Training Yard 1 - Two quadrant training level Once you've mastered this first level you can try out the full size training level before heading out on a real call.
Training Yard 2 - Four quadrant training level
Selecting Difficulty
We've had a wide range of excellent feedback on the difficulty of the game with newcomers reporting that they are unable to finish the first level and veterans lamenting that it's too easy. As a first step to addressing this we've added the levels of difficulty to the Experienced Game as they are defined in the board game. Since the board game does not specify levels of difficulty for the Family game we've had to come up with some starting conditions that makes things a little easier in the early game.
Commendations
Commendations add some interesting challenge to each level by imposing implicit restrictions on the options available to you. You will need to adjust your tactics in order to successfully complete the level and earn the Commendation you're chasing. Can you complete the game without using the deck gun or chopping a wall?
Commendations - Rank up your commendations by completing them on higher difficulties.
