Firehawk FPV: Drone Fighter changes
New physics new UI and Paving the Way for Multiplayer
Big news: we're rolling out our first major physics and UI update. As well as opening the doors to the public open Alpha for multiplayer!
We've been hard at work polishing Firehawk, and this update brings two of the biggest changes yet.
New physics
Firehawk now runs on its own fully custom physics engine, built with point-of-rotor thrust for far more realistic drone flight. Rates have moved to the ProBetaflight format.
We went through many iterations to land on a flight model that feels more realistic and gives you more control — while keeping that fantastic edge of unrealism that makes Firehawk FPV what it is.
A fresh look
The entire UI has had an overhaul to match the Firehawk vibe: new icons, a new colour scheme, and all-round visual improvements. This is an ongoing process, so stick with us as we keep dragging things into the 21st century.
And the big one: Multiplayer
The largest focus over the past few months has been getting the game ready for multiplayer. With that foundation now in place, we can shift back toward new content alongside our big multiplayer push.
Want in on the Alpha? Details on how to access it are coming in our next community post.
