Fire Hero - Pixel Rescue changes
Thank you all so much for playing our DEMO during the Steam Fest! My artist partner and I have been working on this first project for 10 months, and we never expected so many people to take an interest in our game.
We recently hit 1,000 wishlists after the Steam Next Fest, which feels like a great milestone for our first experience—but of course, it's just the beginning, and not quite enough to stand out from the crowd.
Either way, we're motivated to keep going! Our goal is to release the game in the next few months if all goes well. We're still deciding whether it'll be a full release or an Early Access version to start.
We’ve been carefully reading all your feedback and have just uploaded a new demo build with several fixes and improvements from the past few days:
🔧 Demo Update Fixes:
Fixed unreliable crates that couldn’t be lifted properly - Improved translations - Fixed a menu bug that prevented changing options - Corrected platform weight calculations - Fixed a level design issue in an underground area that made it impossible to complete - Capped FPS when VSync is disabled to avoid performance issues
🛠 What we're working on next:
Preventing interactions when you're already holding something - Fixing cases where you can interact with two things at once if they're too close together - Adding new levels - Adding new biomes
Thanks again for your support and feedback. It really helps us shape the game and stay motivated!
