Filthy Frank Kart has been completely overhauled

After a long period of development, Filthy Frank Kart returns with its largest update yet.

Nearly every major part of the game has been rebuilt, redesigned or expanded. This update introduces three new tracks, a complete ghost replay system, completely reworked racers, improved controls and a major visual overhaul.

Three new tracks

The update adds three completely new courses:

  • Realm 88 — Aqua Centauri Steam post image

  • Ricefields Steam post image

  • Literally Nowhere

Each course has its own setting, atmosphere and track layout, built around the game’s retro visual style.

All 30 racers redesigned

Every playable racer has received a completely redesigned model.

The entire roster has been reworked to give each character a clearer silhouette, more recognizable details and a more consistent appearance during races and on the character-selection screen.

Brand-new ghost replay system

Your laps can now be recorded and replayed as ghosts.

Race against your own previous times, challenge faster ghost records and share ghost files with other players.

Rebuilt controls and controller support

The control and input systems have been rebuilt.

The game now supports a wide range of PC controllers through the new input system, alongside keyboard controls. Steering, drifting, boosting and general vehicle handling have also been completely revised.

Complete visual overhaul

The update includes:

  • Reworked racer models

  • Updated environments and track visuals

  • New scenery and 3D objects

  • 60 FPS gameplay

  • Numerous graphical and performance improvements

This is only the beginning

This overhaul marks the return of active development for Filthy Frank Kart.

More three-track level packs are already in development, gradually expanding the game toward a roster of approximately 15–18 courses.

Thank you to everyone who has followed, purchased or wishlisted the game during its long development period. I hope you enjoy the new version and sorry for the long delay.
