FIENDRISE Demo - Update v0.22.0

In the past week, I polished the demo and created a new system to make defeating bosses even more rewarding. Here's a quick recap: Boss Rewards: Defeating a boss now spawns 3 random rewards.

changedBoss Rewards: Defeating a boss now spawns 3 random rewards. Pick one: permanent stat boosts, flat gold, or an extra reroll.
addedEnemy Patterns: Some melee enemies now have unique and unpredictable movement patterns.
changedFiend Scaling: All fiends (playable characters) gain more MAX HP per level.
changedNeofiend Buffs: The Laser Beam skill (Q) now pierces, and its rotating beams have updated visuals.
changedCarnivorosa Buffs: The Tanglebloom skill (W) evolves at 4 power. Poison scaling now benefits from HP, defense, and power, enabling defensive builds.

  • Fiend Scaling: All fiends (playable characters) gain more MAX HP per level.

  • Neofiend BuffsThe Laser Beam skill (Q) now pierces, and its rotating beams have updated visuals.
  • Carnivorosa Buffs: The Tanglebloom skill (W) evolves at 4 power. Poison scaling now benefits from HP, defense, and power, enabling defensive builds.

  • Smaller Stages: Stages are ~30% smaller for better exploration flow, but encounter rarity remains unchanged.

  • Enemy Speed: Minor adjustments to enemy speeds.

  • Mutations: Various changes and fixes.

From now on, I'll focus on the full game as the release is still planned for March 2025 🤞
