FIENDRISE changes
In the past week, I polished the demo and created a new system to make defeating bosses even more rewarding.
Here's a quick recap:
Boss Rewards
Defeating a boss now spawns 3 random rewards.
Pick one
permanent stat boosts, flat gold, or an extra reroll.
Enemy Patterns: Some melee enemies now have unique and unpredictable movement patterns.
Fiend Scaling: All fiends (playable characters) gain more MAX HP per level.
- Neofiend BuffsThe Laser Beam skill (Q) now pierces, and its rotating beams have updated visuals.
Carnivorosa Buffs: The Tanglebloom skill (W) evolves at 4 power. Poison scaling now benefits from HP, defense, and power, enabling defensive builds.
Smaller Stages: Stages are ~30% smaller for better exploration flow, but encounter rarity remains unchanged.
Enemy Speed: Minor adjustments to enemy speeds.
Mutations: Various changes and fixes.
From now on, I'll focus on the full game as the release is still planned for March 2025 🤞
