Demo Update | Patch Notes #2 This update reworks how you carry resources, adds a demolition tool, a new Giant request, and clears out a batch of long-standing annoyances. Carrying, reworked
Resources now stick to your hand: click once to grab them, no need to keep the button held.
Grab a pile and nearby resources of the same type are scooped up along with it.
While carrying: a quick tap drops one unit, a tap on another pile of the same type adds it to your hand, and holding the click drops everything.
The chest and the storehouse use the same system: click a slot to take one item, hold to scoop up the whole stack, and release over a storage window to put it all away. No more dropping things on the ground in between.
Demolish buildings
New tool in the build menu: arm it, click a building (or an unfinished blueprint) and it's gone, the ground is freed for something better.
Right-click to put the tool away.
A new Giant request
The Giants may now ask you to tuck mushrooms safely into a storehouse. Keep them happy.
Campfire & fuel
Fuel now counts the moment it lands in the flames: each resource instantly fills the fire gauge by its own value, and the fire burns it down at a steady pace (rain still drains it faster).
Careful not to overfeed, anything past the gauge's cap goes up in smoke.
Interface & comfort
Reward cards now ask you to confirm your pick, no more misclicks costing you a bonus.
Your inventory is open from the start, and the storehouse window opens as soon as you build one.
The build menu now highlights the category you're browsing.
The giant hand cursor keeps moving while a Giant is talking.
Chickens finally have their own look, and the ambient soundscape got a refresh.
The demo now starts in English by default (French and Japanese still available).
Fixes
Fixed a rare bug where a resource could get permanently stuck, impossible to click, grab or drag.
Clicking on menus or reward cards no longer accidentally places a building or drops what you're carrying behind the window.
Storing resources no longer makes them vanish mid-air or duplicate in rare cases.
Various fixes and polish.
