Patch Notes 1.0.4
Hey Everyone! A complete redo to the Velociraptor Forest level has just landed:
Quality of Life:
Added hiding spot inside cabin
Moved outside fuse to an easier position to spot.
Velociraptor AI Changes:
Redone Velociraptor Behaviour tree to flow better. Should cause velociraptors to not loose interest once you leave their line of sight.
Removed ability to stalk player if raptor spots player but player hasn't seen Velociraptor yet.
Removed ability for Velociraptor to see player flashlight.
This should allow the level to be completed much more easily and be less frustrating.
The final step is to fix the Utahraptor AI. There are currently two major bugs known:
Utahraptor Freezes when it hears a sound positioned off the nav mesh, causing it to try to reach the point by getting as close as possible, but never getting there.
Utahraptor runs to pipe location everytime it hears a noise.
These will be fixed in what is hopefully the final launch patch. I'll also be toning down some of it's abilities for simplicity reasons and to make it less frustrating.
