If one had wings like an owl, they might be able to ride the wind and soar all the way up above.

Beyond the stormwind zone, the true interior of Strigine Quarry finally reveals itself.

This place once served as a mining and processing site for the raw material used to create the Stones of Records, which were used by the Elord Kingdom to preserve and pass down knowledge.

The bluish rock formations were carefully maintained for generations by owl artisans long ago. Even now, due to the quarry’s unique geography, fierce winds continue to sweep through every corner of the area.

Meanwhile, in the highest and deepest reaches of the Strigine Quarry, stands a mysterious structure known as the Stone Sanctuary.

Here remain the traces and stories of a Strigine sage said to have been dispatched to the sanctuary during the great plague long ago.

Next Wednesday, the final new region to be added in the 1st Expansion Update will be revealed.
