Fatal Claw changes
Hello, Explorers!
Following your journey after the 1st Expansion Update, three new regions have been added in this update.
In this 2nd Expansion Update, alongside new regions that bring you closer to the core of the world,
we have also made improvements to exploration flow, combat experience, and overall system polish.
Please see the major update details below.
🔧 Update Details
New Regions Added
The new regions previously introduced through teaser announcements—Lower Elord Castle, Jayma’s Dungeon, and the Kannir Belt—have been added.
These newly added areas feature deeper exploration structures and serve as key zones that bring you closer to uncovering the truth behind the world of Fatal Claw.
Each region has been designed to offer distinct atmospheres, combat flow, and exploration environments.
Additions and Changes
Owl statues have been placed after boss encounters, allowing you to recover HP upon clearing a boss.
New Cabitz have been added: “Traditional Royal Whetstone,” “Prepared Strike,” “Dotiman’s Token,” and “Heart of the Black Curse.”
The existing Cabitz “Sacred Flame of Life” has been changed to “Half Salvation Stone.”
New Codex entries and Steam Achievements have been added.
Improvements
Based on feedback from Drakoniid, you can now grab onto walls when coming into contact with them while gliding.
Based on feedback from RykosThorn, the dead zone range for controller analog stick input has been slightly increased.
Fixed an issue where doors opened by switches in Isaac Manor were not displayed on the map even when nearby.
During Early Access, your feedback has played a crucial role in shaping the direction and overall quality of Fatal Claw.
For this update in particular, we made efforts to reflect a wide range of feedback regarding exploration flow and combat experience into the newly added regions.
We will continue to carefully review your feedback through the Steam Community and Discord, and strive to deliver an even more polished experience as we move toward full release.
Thank you.
