Patch 12 is now available for everyone on the Default Branch!

After taking a short winter break over Christmas, we’re back with fresh godly energy – and we’re excited to introduce a brand-new feature: Hero Priests!

You mighty gods can now delegate minor wonder-making tasks to especially powerful mortals.

Every time you complete a quest, you’ll get to choose:

  • Create a new Hero Priest by transforming one of your believers

  • Or upgrade one of your existing heroes

Destroyer or Preserver - Meet the Mighty Hero Priest:

With each upgrade, a hero can perform more wonders – and they’ll even start hovering to speed things up. Sure, they slowly lose their soul in the process… but who’s counting?

Do you care?

As always, the choice is yours.

You can also give your heroes guidance and define their profile, similar to high-level settlement management: Destroyer or Preserver (with more profiles planned for the future).

And this is just the beginning! We’re already planning additional features for Hero Priests – like possessing them… or maybe even possessing any mortal? 👀

We’d love to hear what you think about the Hero Priest feature and what you’d like to do with them!

The Hero Priest in Action:

On top of that, we’ve added a new drawing ability for the Water Orb:

  • 🌫️ Summon a fog of war that hides your mortals and protects them from enemy god interactions

  • 🌧️ Or conjure a massive magical rain to grow food

How the Fog Works:

How the Magic Rain Works:

Now that we’re fully awake from our winter sleep and have done plenty of long-term planning over the past weeks, all we can say is:

Stay tuned – there’s much more to come. 🔥
