Howdy partners! The year is quickly coming to an end, so we figured it was a good time to hang up the hat for a moment, wipe the grease off our hands, and look back at what we’ve done.

Howdy partners!

The year is quickly coming to an end, so we figured it was a good time to hang up the hat for a moment, wipe the grease off our hands, and look back at what we’ve done. If you’d prefer to watch this update, you can check out the video version of the devlog here:

We’ve been keeping busy down here on the farm! Our team is currently focused on the nuts and bolts of the game - specifically building out the automation systems and polishing the core mechanics. We are making steady progress and everything is moving in the right direction.

Here is a quick look at what’s happening on the farm!

50,000 Wishlists!

First off, we have some mighty big news to share. We have officially hit 50,000 wishlists on Steam!

We are absolutely over the moon. Knowing that there are so many of you waiting to start your own automated homestead gives us a huge boost of energy. We are incredibly grateful for every single one of you. Thank you kindly for the support!

The Gears of Industry: Assembler & Storage

You can’t have a proper automated farm without the right tools to keep things organized. Lately, we’ve been focusing on the essential buildings that will keep your production lines humming. Here is Assembler.

Once the goods are ready, you need a proper place to stash 'em so you don't have to carry the whole harvest on your own back. That is where the Storage unit comes in.

We are fine-tuning these models to ensure your inventory stays sorted and your production lines keep humming along without a hitch.

Keep It Moving: Transport Tubes

Now, havin' machines is great, but a real automated farm needs a way to move goods from point A to point B without you breakin' a sweat. We’ve been hard at work hookin' everything up with our new transport system.

It is mighty satisfying to watch those resources zip through the pipes! But we aren't just letting them pass by - we’re making sure you can interact with the flow, too. You’ll be able to grab items straight out of the pipes or drop them in on the go, saving you a trek back to the main storage every time you need a spare part.

Speaking of efficiency, those pipes wouldn't be much use without crops to carry! We’ve been fine-tuning our robotic helpers to make sure they handle the field work like pros. Whether it’s sowing seeds, watering dry patches, or bringing in the harvest, seeing a team of bots working in sync is a sight for sore eyes.

New Critters Spotted

It ain't just crops growing around here. When you dig deep, you'll find the local wildlife is thriving. We are designing these critters with specific variants to match the different underground biomes you will explore.

Take the Wasp and the Crab-spider, for instance. Their colors and behaviors will change depending on which dark corner of the caves you stumble into. You'll need to stay sharp, because each variant brings its own set of challenges.

It’s not just the bugs you have to watch out for; the flora gets a bit weird down there too. Some of you might recognize this strange fungus from our social media - it’s just one piece of the ecosystem making the underground feel alive.
