Devlog #1 - Welcome to the World of Farmbotic!

Hello and Welcome!

We’re so excited to show you Farmbotic finally! We hope that you’ve enjoyed our short trailer showcase on IGN Live, and you can’t wait to see more of our awesome game!

We all know why you’re here, so let’s move to the more interesting stuff inside this devlog!

First of all, let me explain to you what Farmbotic really is all about…

In Farmbotic, you, as a player, will be experiencing a Farm Life simulation. You’ll need to plant your crops, keep them watered and healthy before harvesting them to make a profit or finish a quest.

But there’s more to life than just farming… The second most important thing to do in our game is automation. Prepare yourself for the creation of Farming HUBs, solar panels, furnaces and many more!

But to be able to place such advanced structures, you’ll need to do a few things beforehand to prepare for that task. First and most important, you won’t be able to do it alone. Be sure to get to know your neighbours and other NPCs - after all, some of them might tell you something interesting…

Aside from the knowledge on how to craft those interesting and handy machines, you’ll also need to have some resources to craft them. Be sure to venture into the mines to gather them! But be careful… The radiation inside the mines has changed some of the creatures living there into mad and scary creatures.

But don’t worry. We’ve got you covered! Would you prefer a blade or a pistol to defend yourself against such creatures? And who knows what might you find at the very depths of the mines…

And with that in mind, we’ve arrived at the end of that devlog! I hope you’ve enjoyed it and that now you understand perfectly what to expect in our game.
