What’s in the Beta?

This beta includes the opening chapter of Fallosophy. It is a full vertical climb inspired by classical philosophy, drawing from ancient Greece and Rome.

You will play through:

  • A complete introductory world with its own visual identity, mechanics, and sound

  • The core flipper physics and momentum systems

  • The intended loop of falling, learning, and climbing again

  • The beginning of Baetyl’s journey and the first appearances of the Philosopher King

A first playthrough usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your skill :)

Why Release a Beta?

Fallosophy lives or dies on feel. Small changes to timing, angles, and momentum can completely reshape the experience, and many of those changes only reveal themselves once real players get their hands on the game.

This beta exists to test something fragile. We want to know whether the flippers feel responsive and readable, whether the difficulty feels demanding without becoming unfair, and where the climb shifts from satisfying to frustrating. Most importantly, we want to know whether this is the kind of challenge you want to stay with.

How to Give Feedback

You can send feedback directly from inside the game.

  • Press F at any time to open the feedback panel

  • Or open the pause menu and select Give Feedback

Feedback sent this way includes anonymous information such as playtime and where you stopped. This helps us identify patterns rather than relying only on individual impressions.

If you want to talk things through, share clips, or just hang out, you can also join our Discord here:

Platform Notes

  • If playing in browser, the beta works best in Chrome

  • Some Firefox users may see minor camera issues or missing menu flippers

  • These issues are not game-breaking and are on our radar

  • Windows and Linux builds are available below

What’s Next?

This beta is the foundation of the full game. From here, we will build upward into later philosophical eras while refining the experience based on what we learn from players. You can also wishlist the game on Steam!

For now, play it. Fall a lot.

Tell us how it feels :)
