Repeated intro
Hello shopkeepers, Since the Cooking Update and Baking with Fruit Update we have received a lot of super useful feedback and reports from the community on Discord. The interaction there has honestly been wonderful. This resulted in a really great push in working out a plethora of minor issues and adding improvement. Over the last three weeks since the last patch a lot has been fixed and improved which is what we would like to push from the unstable to the default branch for all to enjoy.

Let's take a look at the highlights.
Sort & Filter Improvements
The menus that offer sort & filter dropdowns should now save their settings so that reopening them will reapply the same settings. This is especially useful with the Counter and Trader menus that see daily use. The dropdown buttons are also highlighted to remind you that a sort or filter dropdown is active so that you don't mistake the menu for being empty.
Tavern Fixes and Improvements
The patrons in the tavern are delighted with all the deliciousness that has been served thus far. The tavern requests has seen very active use and this resulted in a number of fixes and improvements in that area.
Crafting Menu Room Effect
Crafting recipes will now indicate if a room effect is active. This was already the case for Greenhouse planters so it made a lot of sense to extend this information to other room effects.
Shop Signs
At maximum crafting skill you will be rewarded with a shop sign decoration befitting of your specialty. Shop signs are unique so you are only able to place one. Let the world know that you are a master of your craft.
Variation Folds
There are a huge amount of color variations available for the hundreds of furniture and structure options. You can now indicate that a menu option has color variations to choose from by the little yellow indicator in the corner of a menu item.
Cashier Buffs
Cashiers with 5 stars should now work faster as they level up. This has been buffed from 2 seconds to 1.56 seconds per customer at max level. In addition, customers patience has been increased by 3 seconds.
Display Menu Quality Selector
Quality selection in display menus is improved by removing the old mouse scroll wheel method of selecting product quality in favor of the same product selector that is used in crafting menus. The old method had a lot of issues and wasn't a great fit for the road that is ahead.
Product skill level requirements reduced by 40%
Product skill would progress too slowly and thus the numbers have been adjusted so that product skill level requirements are reduced by approximately 40% for a better experience.
Future development
Controller support is currently in active development. There is a lot to work through from movement, interaction, building, furnishing, menus, settings, button prompts, and button remapping. Movement and camera controls should already be in a functional state but you can't yet interact with anything nor do any of the menus work.
We'll implement controller functionality incrementally on the unstable branch on Steam so if you are interested in discovering how that develops in real-time then I recommend that you join the community on Discord and see the game change with every commit message. It is a lot of fun to go back and forth with players and often find an issue being fixed the same day.
