Baking with Fruit
Last Cooking Update added 68 new products and recipes to Faire Trade. As with every update, we keep a close eye on incoming errors and feedback of things that are easily fixed to give you a smooth and enjoyable shopkeeping experience.
One error that stood out was related to making Tart, Fruit Cake and Bundt Cake. These recipes actually introduced a new crafting mechanic which works in the game systems but required more UI and UX development to be properly supported.
This new crafting mechanic can accept products with a tag as input instead of a specific product. Take Fruit Cake for example, one of the ingredients can be any product tagged as Fruit. While that sounds fairly simple, this had some interesting UI/UX considerations that needed to be fleshed out.
This update now offers the ability to choose which products are used to craft something and gives you the ability to browse which ingredients are used for each input. This also improves on a previous issue where mixed quality inputs was not that easy to browse.
Supporting this feature took another 2 weeks of development but we are glad that crafting recipes can now support products by tag. This opens up exciting new possibilities for the future.

Future development
One much requested feature is controller support and we have been going through the code and systems to do all the preliminary work necessary to get baseline controller support up and running. There is a lot of ground to cover and some upcoming changes may not seem that exciting but will make sense in the context of playing with a controller.
With that I'll leave you with the patch notes so that we can get back to grinding through bug reports, feature requests, and eventually exciting new features!
