Thank you for the incredible interest in our game. Your feedback has helped us fix critical issues and improve Factory Life to make the experience smoother and more enjoyable. If you encounter any problems, please use the in-game bug reporting tool.

Below is the full list of changes:

Fixes & Improvements

  • Added more options to adjust garage darkness post-processing

  • Increased brightness of tutorial videos

  • Improved door outline visibility

  • Added forced door outline at the end of the day

  • Removed colliders from ordered components during the tutorial

  • Increased cursor visibility while working at stations

  • Fixed player “pushing” when inserting components into slots

  • Adjusted mouse sensitivity to work properly within the 600–3000 DPI range

Balance

  • Contracts no longer cancel at the end of the day — they now carry over to the next day. If the player ends the day early, the remaining workday time is deducted from the contract duration.

  • Added automatic product blueprint placement on the inspection table after placing a product crate

Tutorial

  • Improved the crate tutorial — it now appears before starting the assembly process

Localization

  • Corrected component names for the Soundwalker product

  • Fixed misleading end-of-day description

Sounds

  • Footstep sounds are now quieter to better blend into the background

  • Added 6 new tracks to the in-game radio

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed missing doors at the end of the day if the tutorial was skipped

  • Removed a blocker during product disassembly

  • Fixed the inspection table to properly spawn inspection machines

  • Fixed a bug where a disassembled product would despawn when taking another product from a crate

  • Fixed workers refusing to work if the product blueprint was set before adding components

  • Improved worker assembly AI for products requiring two or more identical components (Soundwalker, Pocket Game)

  • Fixed survey display — it now appears only once after finishing the game

Known Issues

  • Sometimes products cannot be removed from storage

  • The mouse casing may occasionally not appear visually after assembly (visual bug only — does not affect gameplay)

  • Storage capacity can be exceeded when inserting products

  • Tutorial videos may freeze the game on Linux and Windows 11 (restarting the game resolves the issue)

  • Game readability issues due to an overly simplified tutorial

  • Inconsistent mouse implementation currently makes it difficult to add inverted axis options

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. The game may behave differently depending on hardware configurations. Some issues occur only in the Steam build and do not appear in the engine, which makes them especially difficult to track down.

Thank you for all your feedback, your patience, and your warm reception of the game. I will continue working hard to implement as much feedback as possible and fix as many issues as I can.
