Exogenesis ~Perils of Rebirth~ was successfully funded (thanks to over 1600 backers) on Kickstarter a few years ago. Since then, we've faced a lot of challenges, but now the game is playable for you to enjoy. This post-apocalyptic visual novel/adventure game hybrid is heavily inspired by Zero Escape, so you'll find mature dark themes and an overarching sci-fi mystery plot. It also takes inspiration from the lively and emotional character sprites from the Ace Attorney series, as well as the intense court room moments. The latter translate to "interrogation" sections in Exogenesis , where you use profiles and evidence you've acquired to unravel hidden secrets. If any of that sounds promising, you can try our demo - it offers a few hours of gameplay, and we hope you like it!
