changedAnd as the rising sunlight refracted off her tears, one of the gleams was imperceptly brighter. She held her. "It's not over." She barely managed to think. Her face was red. Her nails were dirty. "It's not over." She muttered to herself. Even though there was not a single other living soul around, deep down, she knew someone could hear. "It's not over!" She shouted, at the top of her lungs. Whichever god, gods, or lack thereof - Whichever twisted universe found amusing to do this mockery of hope and love didn't deserve to exist. She'd make sure of it. "IT'S NOT OVER" She barely managed to think - Not with words, or symbols, or any usual thoughts, for that matter. No. That, for a single fraction of a second, she managed to think as a pure logical concept, devoid of the hollow veneer of language and dreams. That noon, as all worlds do eventually, hers ended. Everything that had been made, was unmade. Everything that had been there since the beginning, gone. forever. All that was left was an infinitely large expanse of nothing. ...And yet, in that void, one single photon flew, refracted as a duplicate, from sunlight. waiting, for an infinitely long time, for elsewhere.
changedWelcome to the Alpha release of Everything Ends In 0: Post-Mortem. This Broadcast, as all Broadcasts, is unfinished. This Broadcast, as most Broacdasts, is incomplete. This Broadcast, as some Broadcasts, is missing fundamental Cast and Crew. This Broadcast, as almost no Broadcast, will continue Development throughout 2026 and beyond, assuming Its Auteur makes it unscathed. I am not one accustomed to emotionality.
