Features - Added basic skills and exp gaining mechanisms: woodcutting, mining, crafting, socialising, woodcarving, smithing, magic and cooking - Added unlockable talents that provide extra abilities to skills. This is an early stage feature, and will iterate based on feedback in play testing. - Added a chance for tree seeds to drop when chopping a tree - Added farms and farming as a job - NPC farmers will till earth, obtain and plant seeds, tend and water crops, and harvest and sell their produce - NPCs can now explain why they’re doing a particular action, whether it’s part of their job or because it’s part of a broader goal they have
Quality of life - Improved cooking UI layout and text - Hide equipped entity when parts of UI open - Improve on screen player messages so messages won’t be lost if they are interrupted
Bugfixes - Fixed bug where no message was shown to player if they couldn’t use an item - Fixed some items appearing too small in inventory - Fixed bug where NPCs would sometimes use the player’s name in dialogue before knowing it - Fixed bug where player dialogue that included the word ‘what’ would be interpreted as saying hello - Fixed bug where cooking ingredients placed on cooking tools couldn’t be picked up until the tool was picked up and replaced - Fixed bug where NPC planning would occasionally become corrupted
