Patch notes for the Demo: 1.26.0200
Optimization & Performance
Implemented a new system for loading and unloading act assets.
Memory usage has been optimized — assets are now loaded only when needed and properly released when switching locations.
This reduces RAM consumption and minimizes in-game stuttering.
Tutorial
Reworked the save system — tutorial progress is now saved correctly.
Fixed UI issues in the top panel during the tutorial that occurred when restarting the tutorial multiple times.
Shop
Added a delay to the merchant’s pop-up dialogue when the player does not have enough currency.
The “Golden Chalice” artifact no longer appears in the shop.
Tavern
Fixed the visual layer for the Christmas tree (again).
Encounters
Added a new Card Transformation mechanic, allowing one hero card to be replaced with another card of the same hero.
The Act 1 encounter “Herbalist” now uses the card transformation mechanic.
Added new encounters in Act 2:
Mummy
Restless Spirit
Memorial Altar
The Act 2 encounter “Buried Alive” now deals 15 damage on failure instead of 10.
The Act 3 encounter “Ritual Sword” now rewards the “Greater Ritual Sword” artifact.
Dialogue
Fixed a critical issue where dialogues could freeze if the player exited to the main menu during a dialogue and then reloaded a save.
Cards
Added artwork for the “Bone” card.
Story & Quests
Fixed hero personal encounters and quest activation logic.
Resolved cases where events could trigger in the wrong order or block player progression.
Localization
Corrected translation inaccuracies and text issues across all supported languages.
Fixed typos, unclear phrasing, and terminology inconsistencies.
Balance
Improved balance for cards, relics, and meta progression.
Reworked the room generation system in acts — room spawn chances have been adjusted.
Room distribution now better matches player progression and act difficulty.
Additional balance tweaks were made to ensure a fairer and more engaging experience.
Bug Fixes
Fixed various bugs and soft locks that could prevent players from continuing the game.
Improved overall stability by addressing multiple technical issues.
