We hope you’re in good spirits and are getting ready to celebrate the holidays!

To make the festive mood even brighter, we’ve prepared a few seasonal changes we think you’ll love:

First of all, we redecorated the tavern with holiday cheer.

The main menu also received a seasonal refresh to match the spirit of the holidays.

We hope this helps set the tone for a magical end to the year!

But that’s not all! We've been hard at work on technical improvements and content updates. Here's what changed in the demo and the main game:

General Optimization & Fixes

  • Improved performance and stability (reduced crashes and freezes)

  • UI readability improvements

  • Minor visual glitches fixed

  • Tutorial flow improved

New Content & Events

  • New encounters added to Act 1:

    • “Sleeping Predator”

    • “The Hunter and the Trinket”

  • Updated text for the Leshy encounter (Act 1)

Visual Enhancements

  • New Year decorations added to the tavern and main menu

  • Vignette added during dialogues

  • Updated art for the “Icy Arrow” card (brighter look)

  • Removed a style controller object visible to players

Gameplay & Balance

  • “Tree Stump” encounter now easier if a Veteran is in the party

  • “Strange Pedestal” failure damage increased (12 → 16)

  • Removed redundant “Leave” option from “Stone Circle”

  • Removed several encounters from the Beastfolk biome:

    • Heartcore, Waterfall, Dream Grass, Skeleton in Tree, Large Beast

  • Removed duplicate Leshy and Tree Stump events

Tutorial Changes

  • Characters can’t die during the tutorial anymore

  • Players now receive a healing potion on step 3 if none is in inventory

  • Invisibility card can’t be played before tutorial text finishes

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a crash caused by duplicate card removals

  • Fixed “black screen” bug with Veteran/Owlkin combo

  • Fixed non-functional choice in “Torture by Curiosity” (Act 3)

  • Fixed familiar cards and “Furious Cry” card logic
