☑️ MASSIVE UPDATE – Full Patch Notes

ADDITIONS - 3 VFX have been added depending on the level of diversity achieved on top of the tile that triggered diversity; the single SFX previously present has now been split into 3 parts to also match the diversity level. - Boats now have 2 SFX that can be heard when approaching them. - Added a new "Rocky - Other" tile for the savanna biome. - A vertical line has been added below the Adventure mode bonuses to clearly show which tile they apply to. - Added a new tile "Lava flower - Other" for the volcanic biome. - Added an explanatory text at the beginning of Adventure mode. - The vendor Michi is now available in-game, offering various items that can be exchanged for score you accumulate during your runs (previously earned score is counted). - A background has been added to the three info panels that appear in the tile info window when pressing SHIFT. - An asterisk has been added just to the left of the tile gain icon, when applicable, in the tile info window; opening the info window with SHIFT will provide more details. - A camera filter feature has been added; two will be available after purchase in the Michi shop to enhance and change the visual style of your game. - A mouse cursor customization feature has been added; two will be available after purchase in the Michi shop to enhance and change the visual style of your cursor. - Two new tiles and 1 tile variant have been added; they will be available after purchase in the Michi shop:

  • Added a new "Place - Other" tile for the summer biome.

  • Added a new "Cactus - Other" tile for the desert biome.

  • Added a variant "Water - Straight" tile for the summer biome.

  • Three new grounds have been added; they will be available after purchase in the Michi shop. - A customization menu has been added, and the "Select Ground" button has been removed from the main menu and pause menu, with other buttons repositioned. This new menu allows you to change the ground, filter and mouse cursor. - Added a color mode selection with 8 options (colorblind-friendly). - There are now shadows on the 3 tiles in hand. CHANGES - The "Wonder - Earth" tile no longer gives a 25% chance to obtain an extra tile, but 20%, and the tile info window text has been updated accordingly. - The 3 halos indicating group levels (5, 10, and 20) in the group window have been removed, as they were not very relevant or visible. - There are now 3 badges labeled 2, 3, and 4 corresponding to the biomes involved in triggering diversity, in the diversity window. - The diversity icon in the diversity window has been enlarged. - Some text in the group, synergy, and diversity windows has been vertically centered. - The "Pond - Other" tile from the summer biome has been improved in terms of water rendering, the bridges have been removed to better match a pond, and its image in the registry UI has been redone. - The "Bloomhill - Other" tile from the summer biome has been visually improved, its image in the registry UI has been redone, and the Michi has been repositioned. - The nighttime ambient sound would occasionally decrease in volume, this reduction has been lessened and now takes longer to occur. The arrow that appears above the tile in hand before you lay it is now the same as the one in the UI indicating when you lay it. - A directional arrow is now present, indicating the orientation(s) with which tiles can be compatible. - The "Large frozen tree - Other" tile from the ice biome has been visually improved. - The 3 "Tent - Other" tiles from the desert biome have been visually improved. - The "Oasis - Other" tile from the desert biome has been visually improved. - The registry reward windows have been slightly moved up so they are not as close to the page navigation arrows. - The 3 "Lava flow" tiles from the volcanic biome have been visually improved and their Michi has been repositioned. - When placing 2 or 3 compatible tiles, you always gain +1 tile. With 4 or 5 tiles, you still gain +1, with a 50% chance to gain an additional +1 (up to +2 total). With 6 tiles, you always gain +1, with a 50% chance to gain +1 more and a 25% chance to gain yet another +1 (up to +3 total). - When a water, road, or wall tile faces another tile, you always gain +2 tiles. If it faces 2 tiles, it instead grants +2 with a 50% chance to gain an additional +1 (up to +3 total). - The gain from the "Earth - Wonder" tile is now displayed using the wonder color and appears below the tile bonus gain, to match the score gain logic. - When you finish a game in Rapid, Classic, or Hard mode, the end screen background that normally displays the completion or non-completion icon has been removed for these three modes, as they have no win or loss conditions. - The "Sharland - Other" tile has been visually improved and the Michi has been repositioned. - The "Volcano - Other" tile in the volcanic biome has been visually improved and the Michi has been repositioned. - The information about groups that opens in the tile info window with the SHIFT key is now vertically aligned at the top, but no longer centered relative to the group section on the left. - The text that appears in the info window with the SHIFT key has been reduced from size 20 to 19. - The tile gain text in the tile info window now displays "2/3" instead of just "2". - The selected ground is now saved when you exit the game or the match, and so is the filter. - The number of blocking tiles that appear from the fire natural disaster in Adventure mode has been reduced by approximately 19.2%. - In Adventure mode, the same natural disaster can no longer occur more than twice in a row. - The "Road – End" and "Water – End" tiles now grant 3 points when placed instead of 2. That’s 2 more points than other road and water tiles; since these tiles close a path and are therefore less advantageous, they now reward more points. - The pillars that appeared at the ends of the various walls have been redesigned. - The two variants of the "Wall - Straight" tiles have been visually improved, and their michi has been repositioned. - The two variants of the "Wall - Curved" tile have also been visually improved.- The FX when the second tile moves into the first slot is better timed and visually clearer. BUG FIXES - In french, the text about the climbing Michis in the menu in Adventure mode was aligned with the "Sélection du Michi" text, causing it to overlap. - The lighthouse placed in the main menu was slightly elevated. - Selecting ground 21 in the main menu resulted in the same as ground 20. - There were no transition effects on water tiles when placing a wall next to them. - In the tile information window for the "Monument - Other" tile, it incorrectly stated that it created one row of tiles instead of two. - The "Tower - Other", "Lighthouse - Other", and "Camp - Other" tiles from the summer biome, the "Desert - Full" tile from the arid biome, and the "Snowy Plain - filled" tile from the ice biome did not grant points with the "Water - Wonder" tile. - The "Cavern - Other", "Shardland - Other", and "Waypost - Other" tiles generated only 6 tiles around them instead of 18. - The "Earth - Wonder" tile did not display any information in the tile info panel when hovering over or right-clicking an available tile. - The description of the "Sky - Wonder" tile incorrectly stated it granted +1 score instead of +2. - Wonder tiles were granting their bonus immediately upon placement, they should instead activate on the next tile placed. - In Adventure, Challenge, and Quick modes, the quest bonus for slots 2 and 3 of the "Plain - Wonder" tile was not working correctly, and only worked if the "Forest - Wonder" tile was placed. - The info menu, when quitting the game from the main menu, would appear over the fade to black. - The "Water - Straight" and "Water - Curved" tiles did not display water foam when held. - If a "Wall - Curved" tile touched another "Wall - Curved", or if a "Wall - Straight" touched another "Wall - Straight", it triggered a yellow highlight indicating a correct placement, even though walls do not grant score bonuses for correct placement but only for their orientation. - Ground 21 of the "Quest runner" registry could not be unlocked because it was not saved.- If you hold left click to search for a Michi on a tile and drag while keeping the left click pressed onto an available tile, the sound would continue playing, the UI would remain indefinitely, and the highlighted tile would stay as well. This could also happen when the end-of-game screen was triggered. LOCALIZATION - In French, in the descriptions of Adventure and Creative modes in the main menu, the word "ou" should be written "où". - In French, in the descriptions of Quick and Classic modes in the main menu, the word "ou" should be written "où" and "meilleure" should be "meilleur". - In French, in the description of Difficult mode in the main menu, "ou" should be written "où" and "meilleure" should be "meilleur". - In French, in the description of Challenge mode in the main menu, "relevez" should be written "relever" and "victoires" should be "victoire". - In French, in the description of Difficult mode in the main menu, the ending has been changed to "carefully planned". - The word "Waypost" has been revised in various parts of the game in Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese to better match its meaning. - In french, in the tile information window for the "Shardland - Other" tile, there was an extra "/". - In french, in the Adventure mode menu, "Nouvelle aventure" has been changed to "Nouveau" to keep button names consistent. - In brazilian portuguese and simplified chinese, there were ":" that were not properly attached to the preceding words.
