New trailer! First ever public demo!

Hi, everyone! I am so excited to be publishing today’s update.

If you happened to watch the Future Games Show that aired earlier today, you might have noticed Europa showing up with a brand-new trailer! And hopefully you saw the big news: Europa has its first-ever playable demo!

I am so thrilled to be getting this playable build into your hands. It’s just a taste of what you’ll experience in my game, so don’t worry about it taking up your whole day. It’s short and sweet, should only take you about 20-30 minutes. I really hope that your time with the demo will evoke a sense of wonder, a bit of joy, and a lot of calm and peace.

Something you may have also noticed after watching the trailer is that the release date’s changed – Europa will now be releasing in 2024. I’ve worked for six years on this game in my spare time (I work on AAA games for my day job) and have poured a lot of love into it. I want to make it the best it can be, and I want to release it only when I’m sure it’s reached that state. I hope you’ll understand the delay and that this demo will tide you over until its release.
