We're thrilled to share the latest updates and enhancements for Eternity's Echo: Patient Zero. Our team has been hard at work, and we've made significant strides in various aspects of the game.
Lighting System and Global Illumination (GI)
We've revamped our lighting system to enhance the visual experience.
Upgraded Global Illumination (GI) for more realistic and immersive environments. (Lumen)
Engine Upgrade
Migrated to the latest version of Unreal Engine, ensuring improved performance and access to cutting-edge features.
Life Mechanics Integration
Integrated the life mechanics with the in-game watch, providing a seamless and intuitive player experience.
Mini-Game Systems
Laid the foundation for various mini-games, adding layers of fun and engagement to the gameplay.
Door and Key Systems
Developed comprehensive door and key systems, including both locking and unlocking mechanisms for an added layer of interaction and challenge.
ID Card and Authorization Systems
Implemented an ID card system along with authorization mechanics to control access and add depth to the storyline.

Defined AI states and linked them to the Environmental Query System (EQS) for real-time decision-making. For instance, if an AI encounters a door while running, it will either break through if locked or pass through if open.
Integrated AI states with animation blueprints, ensuring the correct animations play based on the AI's current state.
Activated physical interactions, allowing AI movements to be based on realistic physics.
