Eternity's Echo: Patient Zero changes
These developer notes provide a detailed summary of all the changes, improvements, and bug fixes we've worked on so far. Each version note outlines the new features and systems we developed, as well as how we resolved issues in existing systems.
Summary of Developer Notes V1-V18: Developments and New Features:
Installation and development of fundamental infrastructures such as the realistic locomotion system, realistic weapon system, and level planning (V1).
Addition of game mechanics like the UV mechanics system, story-based save and load system, object pickup, and inventory system (V2-V7).
Implementation of the menu system, authorized door lock system, and creation of AI characters (V8-V12).
Creation of a detailed FPS camera system, character skill system, and various new abilities (V15-V17).
Addition of player movement and interaction mechanics like the character dashing and restriction system (V18).
Bug Fixes and Improvements:
Resolution of various technical issues such as character navigation system errors, reloading and taking ammunition animations, and the UV mechanics timer (V1-V3).
Enhancements in details like light materials, physical material sounds, and animation durations (V4-V5).
Fixes for save and load system issues, camera errors, and performance problems in the inventory system (V7-V10).
