Eternal Tombs changes
Heading Toward the Finish Line!
Triune Followers, Thank you to everyone who has jumped in and tested so far as we continue to build Eternal Tombs. We just ran our latest large test back in March and we received a ton of feedback and have taken notes on everything. Since then, we’ve made so many adjustments to the game, but none more important than a significant number of combat updates to ensure a far smoother process on movement along with weapon and bow attacks. Based on our internal testing feedback, the game feels 10x better with some of the changes we’ve made. Here’s a quick list of some of the major updates since the last test:
New Full Tutorial for Beginner Players
Tons of Combat Updates to Movement and Smoothness
Added Health bar/name/level above all enemies/players who are nearby
All Standard Melee/Wand/Staff attacks now have custom movement applied to them
2H Weapons Now Attack up to 3 Enemies at Once in Melee Range
Dual Wielding Now Causes Damage from Primary and Secondary on Every Attack
Significantly Improved Ranger/Bow Ability Experience
Increased Camera Zoom Out Distance
Added Endurance Bar
Added Sprint
Updated Dodge, Shield Blocking, and Sprinting to Endurance Bar
Mob AI De-Sync, Location Warping and Performance Fixes
Updated UI to scale better
Increased Arrow Velocity on Bows
Reduced Camera Shake Intensity
Increased Focus/HP Regen
Looting functionality and keys now re-built
Reduced Frontal Stun Probability
Lots of other fixes and updates
As you can see, we love your feedback and listen to everything. We will absolutely continue to make the changes necessary to make sure this game is the best MMORPG possible. Steam post image
Development Updates & Launch Timeline
In addition to the many different bug fixes and quality of life updates, we’re also continuing to push content forward. We reached a major milestone lately where all of our quests are finished and written. This was a very large endeavor, so we’re very glad to be through it. We’re now in the process of implementing those quests throughout the world and testing them to ensure they are working properly! Over the next few months, we’ll also be finalizing our item build and crafting completion. In the fall we hope to finalize raid implementation, pre-scripted events and then final beta/testing and server performance updates sometime near the end of the year. We’re getting very close to the end and we’re so thankful for all of your help as we continue developing Eternal Tombs!
