Escape: Immersion changes
The Royal Games and AzDimension team has released an update for the Escape: Immersion demo. This new version includes a number of important improvements based on player feedback from the playtest, focusing on controls, stability, accessibility, and overall gameplay comfort.
What has changed compared to the earlier version
Controls
Controller support has been fixed. The game now correctly switches controls on the fly between keyboard and mouse and controller.
Gamepad controls have been improved. Controller input now feels more comfortable and responsive, allowing players to focus more on exploration, puzzles, and the game’s atmosphere.
Fixed an issue that made some puzzles impossible to solve when using a controller. All key gameplay mechanics should now work correctly with both keyboard and mouse and gamepad controls.
Localization
New languages have been added. The demo is now more accessible to players from different regions. The following localizations have been added:
Ukrainian;
Swedish;
Finnish;
Dutch;
Hungarian;
Romanian;
Norwegian;
Indonesian;
Vietnamese;
Czech;
Latin American Spanish;
Arabic;
Georgian.
In total, Escape: Immersion now supports 26 languages.
Steam post image Audio and UI
Fixed duplicate UI sounds. Interface sounds should no longer repeat or overlap incorrectly.
Fixed an issue with tutorial messages appearing repeatedly. Tutorial prompts should now appear properly and no longer interrupt the gameplay experience.
Gameplay
Fixed an issue that prevented players from grabbing ledges. The ledge-grab mechanic has been improved to make traversal more stable and reliable.
Fixed puzzle-related issues when using a controller. Players should now be able to complete puzzles regardless of their chosen input method.
Graphics
New graphics options have been added. Players now have more settings to adjust the game’s visuals according to their hardware capabilities and personal preferences.
