Hello gamers! For this update some process of beast quarters:

After running around the location with the team we came up to many new realisation what was lacking:

  • Firstly we had many unnecessary secondary pathways without clear desirable path, so for starters we focused on having clean and intuitive path first, while still having the possibility to roam around if player would want to (some whitebox to the the path first are still present)

  • Secondly we had rly strong verticals everywhere so much so that our Orb (main focal point of the area is lost and feels more like background piece - to counter that we lowered overall ruins (animation and brighter halo is in process, but it is much more to our liking now)

After seeing what Vils and Bear are doing with combat mechanics and enemies, it sparked new ideas for the environment - it became clear that we need wider area for combat:
