changedCleanse thyselves with news from the creators. This week we camp out to enjoy Gatestons outskirt activities.✧For this update, one of the key points was reworking the area of the camp to a specific vibe and purpose, we wanted the camp not just look cool but so the traverse and fights in it would be fun for a player and the area really shaping up greatly. Initially we build it with just plain white cubes to make sure that it feels right to roam around it and after we establish that this is it - only then assets comes into play, we dress it up nicely to the established previously ancient ruins mood, but at the same time while adding additional verticality to it the area felt a lot more “alive” and interesting. Here are some screenshot of what we ended up with, along with one shot of a process(how it looked with white cubes as placeholders:Steam post imageSteam post image

Another point of focus for this update was The Orb, we want it to have striking visuals (some will be achieved with post processing).

It is still in the making, we have some progress, but it still is not as strong visually as we liked it to be.

Some issues still need to be fixed, but here are some of the test Orbs we’ve been playing with:

Wish you all a pleasant weekend and cya in the next one, gamers!

Jugger:

An elegant draft for the start of the scene, we start somewhere a bit darker than usual:

Thank you for attending the vigil, it would not be the same without thy presence.
