EraClicker changes
This update brings important fixes to progression, economy and bonus adjustments, as well as several improvements to building and synergy tooltip information.
Changes
Now, every time you advance an era or restart the cycle, you gain a permanent bonus that grows exponentially. Previously, the bonus was fixed per era, which meant that resetting too early (such as still in the first era) gave practically no advantage. This has been improved to better reward advancement and looping.
We've improved save system compatibility with older versions, reducing issues when loading old profiles after balance changes.
The XP system now uses a consistent formula: 150 × (1.15^level). Previously, the XP required for the next level was saved directly, which caused strange values in old saves after formula changes.
For veteran players, a generous compensation has been added to the game to avoid frustration with the change from fixed bonus to exponential bonus.
The price to advance eras now scales cubically, making the cost more predictable and appropriate for player power in advanced stages.
Quality of Life (QoL)
We've added an auto-clicker system. It unlocks after 2 hours of playtime (measured by a new internal variable), so all players need to reach this time to unlock the feature. The auto-clicker performs 5 clicks per second and can be disabled in settings.
We've added new information to the tooltip when choosing synergies, allowing you to see the bonus that will be applied directly in the tooltip, without needing to equip the synergy first to discover the effect.
Buildings now show in the tooltip/interface line how much they're generating in total, making it easier to understand the impact of each one on your production.
A button has been added in-game that leads directly to our Discord server, making it easier to access the community and provide feedback.
Finally, it's worth noting that many of these improvements came from ideas and suggestions from the community on Discord. Keep sending feedback, it helps a lot to make the game better and better!
