Yo what up. If there was anything about Epiphany City's gameplay that confused you, this should clear everything up! If not, you can always leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

1. Find all of the Prophecy's Flowers

Lily and Superb Man witness a vision of their world in ruins, and are tasked with finding three mysterious Flowers to fulfill the Sacred Prophecy. Each Flower will increase the Hero of the Prophecy's powers, until they are strong enough to defeat the evil forces threatening the world and change the future.

2. Use magical picture frames to manipulate the world

Use Lily's unique powers (that she stole from Superb Man) to manipulate the world and progress through the game. These include moving things around and even re-contextualizing objects. Anything is possible, as long as you're imaginative enough!

In addition to our creative puzzle mechanics, you'll also go through some more traditional puzzles, like the Spring Flowers from the Ocean, the Blooming Flowers from Sky Mountain, and the Numerical Flowers from Blossom National Park. I won't spoil how these work- you'll have to figure that out for yourself!

(^ Spring Flower puzzles)

3. Take a break and grab a snack

Epiphany City has no time limits, no fast reactions necessary, no fiddling with controls or getting used to foreign physics. Both Cameron (our programmer) and I have re-designed the game many times over to ensure you just get to enjoy playing the game. So take your time and enjoy the experience!

If you're really clever, you can just use your magical frame powers to give yourself more time =P

There is actually one exception to the fast reactions thing, but I promise you'll be able to get through it no problem, so don't worry.

4. Eat your snack as you watch the story unfold

Once you reach certain milestones, you'll uncover more knowledge and secrets about the world, as well as see more of our major characters in action! I'll be sending you more blurbs about each of them as well, so keep an eye out for that!

_______

And that's it! Epiphany City is pretty unique, so there isn't really a game similar to it that helps everyone understand what it's like. I hope I cleared up a lot of stuff for you all, but now I have two questions for you:

What did you most want to know about Epiphany City before reading this email? Or is there anything else you're still wondering? What other games does Epiphany City remind you of?

Don't hesitate to leave a comment and let me know! It'll help both of us out a lot and I'm always excited to chat. - Dave
