Epiphany City changes
So with that out of the way, here are some common questions people ask us, and their answers!
How long is Epiphany City?
Current playtests clock in at about 4-5 hours. Experienced puzzle game fanatics might complete the game sooner.
How much is it going to cost?
Somewhere around $15-$20, but it hasn't been confirmed yet.
When is it coming out?
You know, every time I say the game is almost done I end up being completely wrong, so we're going to wait until we're 100% certain to announce a release date. However, we currently think we will finish it by Winter 2021.
How difficult are the puzzles in Epiphany City?
Epiphany City is not meant to be super challenging. As much as we were inspired by games like Braid, The Witness, and even Stephen’s Sausage Roll, the game’s difficulty is a lot closer to something like Paper Mario. We wanted to make something that would allow non-gamers to see how amazing video games could really be.
Can I stream your game?
Yes, absolutely! We would especially love it if you streamed our demo, which you’ll be able to download for free soon. To get notified when the demo goes live, join our insider group .
Are there multiple endings?
Epiphany City is a mostly linear adventure. We actually tried to make it open world at first, but failed miserably. Maybe in our next project we can realize that dream now that we’ve learned so much more about game development.
Will the game come to [insert platform here]?
We really want to bring the game to iOS and the Nintendo Switch (if Nintendo accepts us), as those platforms probably fit our game’s vibe the best, but it will probably take an extra year of development at least.
