changedLast week of demoUp until now, the demo has essentially been a beta/preview build. We’ve reached a quality level that we feel comfortable putting a price on, so Early Access is the natural next step.
changedLast week of demoThis was a bit of a debate, but the decision came down to whether we could justify keeping the demo in sync with the EA version over time. Ideally we’d keep both live, but we’re a small team and we plan to put our full capacity to the Early Access build.

We wanted to take this opportunity to cover a few things.

Early access launch time

The Early Access build is going live at 5pm 25th May UTC. That is:

  • EDT: 1pm 25th May

  • PDT: 10am 25th May

  • AEST: 3am 25th May (late night for us!)

We will be awake and online in Discord, so come say hi. A good amount of time has been spent testing, fixing bugs, and polishing. So we’re hoping for a smooth launch!

Early Access updates

We’re already working (hard) on our first content update. You can expect it in the first few weeks of Early Access.

At launch we’ll reveal our EA roadmap. We want to be responsive to feedback during EA so it’ll be high level, but it will give you a good picture of where the game is headed.

Last week of demo

Up until now, the demo has essentially been a beta/preview build. We’ve reached a quality level that we feel comfortable putting a price on, so Early Access is the natural next step.

This was a bit of a debate, but the decision came down to whether we could justify keeping the demo in sync with the EA version over time. Ideally we’d keep both live, but we’re a small team and we plan to put our full capacity to the Early Access build.

The demo will stay up for seven more days. If you know anyone who might be interested in trying to game before then, now’s the time to let them know.

Transferring demo progress

Many people have asked whether their progress from the demo will be transferred over to the full game. Good news: The answer is yes!

Everything will be retained:

  • Completed missions

  • Unlocked characters

  • Irregular spheres

  • Tactics & abilities

When you first play the game you will see the new story intro and first mission, but after that you’ll be right back where you left off.

Some of the missions from the demo have updated objectives. If you were half way through a mission you may need to double check. But anything that you completed stays completed.

If you want to start over, you can always “reset progress” from the options.

More questions?

Tried to cover the big ticket items here, but of course if you have any questions we’ll do our best to answer them.
