addedThe purpose of this post is twofold: to keep you updated on the game’s progress, and to start learning how to communicate my development thoughts with you all in a more natural way. This is a brand new experience for me, and I’m still figuring out a comfortable rhythm. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know!

🛠️ [Upcoming Updates] What’s Coming Next

Based on your feedback, I’m planning to add some of the features you mentioned. Here’s a quick preview!

📖 More Story Content

Yes! I’m working on expanding the game’s story background and introducing a proper story opening.

The early version focused heavily on gameplay, so the story mainly served as a basic tutorial. Now that I’ve put together a more complete world setting, I’ll be integrating it gradually and naturally—without interrupting the flow of gameplay.

🧩 New Levels & Story Expansion

New levels will include fresh story elements, new defense towers, and more zombie types. The full plan is to reach 30 stages, but since balancing and testing are key, I’ll be releasing them in batches of 10 stages at a time.

Alongside the levels, I’ll also be sharing some behind-the-scenes content.

To be honest, when I first started making this game, I was on what I’d call “full-speed dev mode”— Basically developing like crazy while learning everything on the fly, without really knowing what a game developer should be doing.

Looking back now, I realize there’s a lot worth sharing from that experience. I believe many solo developers who started from scratch may have gone through the same thing.

This dev log is a result of that reflection and growth—learning from others, and documenting the journey as I go.

🎮 New Game Modes in the Works

🔒 Challenge Mode (Tutorial + Limitations) In response to your feedback about the lack of tutorials and the desire for more narrative, I’m planning to add a “Challenge Mode.”

This mode will feature specific gameplay restrictions, tutorial guidance, and some tricky conditions— Designed to satisfy both:

New players who need clearer instructions

Veteran players who enjoy a good challenge

📘 Story Mode (Updated from Classic Mode) The original normal mode will be renamed “Story Mode.” It will continue to include basic tutorials in the early stages, but also incorporate more storytelling elements as you progress.

This mode is designed to be accessible to everyone, with a focus on a smooth, enjoyable experience. If I receive feedback that even the lowest difficulty is too tough, I’ll make adjustments accordingly.

⌨️ Hotkey Support I’ve also heard your requests for smoother controls. Here are the hotkeys coming soon:

Time Control:

Space: Pause / Resume Z: 1x Speed X: 2x Speed C: 3x Speed

Quick Sell: Shift + E: Instantly sell items

These additions should help make the game feel snappier and more responsive.

------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is first dev log! In the next one, I’ll start including a proper “update list” and share in-development screenshots or gameplay visuals. If you enjoy this kind of content, or want to see something specific, leave a comment or give it a like to let me know!

Thanks to every single one of you who took the time to read this— Even if you’re just quietly following along, it means the world to me.

See you next
