Development Update 7

Attention Gamers Development Update 7: Greenhouses and Cooking is available and live. In this update we introduce some new buildables to either build a custom green house, or, if you have the resources available, you can build the prefabricated greenhouse.

Below players will get a detailed breakdown of what is new in this current update and what has been improved upon!

[Build system]

• We added a few new buildable objects

  • A greenhouse wall

  • A greenhouse door wall

  • A greenhouse roof

  • A greenhouse corner roof

  

• These new buildables can be used in normal builds as standard wall and roof pieces, however the green house roof and corner roof give players the ability to cultivate plants.25 times faster if a planter is placed beneath one of these roof pieces.

• The Wall piece has been added to the snapping system and will snap planter boxes into place on either side of the wall.

• We also added a new prefabricated greenhouse

  

  • Manufacturing the prebuilt greenhouse does incur significant cost; however, it has the capacity to accommodate up to 32 planter boxes with in its premises

• we also added a new work bench to the game, the wood burning stove.

  

  • On this workbench you'll need to fuel it with logs and you can cook meat and vegetable stew

• We also reworked the look of the forge and fixed a few bugs related to using the forge.

[Map]

We have begun to add interactable doors to several of the houses on the map, making them a good, temporary refuge from the horde

We also have begun to furnish some of these houses and will continue to furnish a house or two with each update.

We also added two new trees to the swamp biomes

2. The mangrove tree

   

These trees will give standard resources for the time being.

[Loot System]

With the furnishing of the houses on the map comes some new lootable furniture At this time there are two new additions to the loot system to keep an eye out for.

1. 2 Night Stands

These new lootable furniture can only be found in furnished houses. We've also added a mild glowing overlay to assist in locating lootable furniture. As always we appreciate our fans and the gaming community, and we will continue to push out quality updates as they become ready!
