changedNow I can fairly confidently say it is the best piece of UI in the whole game (yes better than the Operations Menu, who was previously holding the #1 spot in such a sea of inconsistencies), and it's quite a relief to be able to say it wholeheartedly... I of course plan to give a similar treatment to some of the other older menus, worry not - tho that's most likely for post-launch (because money).
addedMain Menu Rework: The main menu has been completely rebuilt from scratch , now featuring a fully diegetic Cargo-Ship interface. Huge thanks to Merly23 for the amazing new art!
addedCorrupted Anomalies: A new twist on Artifact Anomalies , each coming with one unique Game Rule modifier on top. Also includes a custom Mission to go along with it.
addedSeasonal Events Option: A brand new menu option allowing you to activate any implemented Seasonal Event at will. Unlocked alongside Developer Mode once you 100% the game.
fixedWindow Focus vs. Input Fix: Fixed an issue where the game window could sometimes lose focus and prevent certain inputs from being properly registered... Might sound like no big deal, but this obscure Godot Engine (4.2) bug was haunting me for months straight, with several previously unsuccessful attempts to fix it.
changedGeneral Optimizations: More FPS!!!!

Let's be real for a sec: the main menu used to look like crap, and playtime statistics more than back me up on that end (most of the players of the lower spectrum used to quit literally right after seeing the main menu). It's all a thing of the past however, as I have finally thrown it into the trash, where it belongs.

  • General Optimizations: More FPS!!!!

  • Hover Panel Reworks.

  • Reworked Aura Passives Display.

  • Major Rare Crash Fix (Unit Selection).

Once again, I'm really happy with how the Main Menu rework turned out in particular... it finally feels like part of the world instead of just a menu slapped on top of it ;)

Corrupted Anomalies are also something I’ve been wanting to mess with for a while now, and this is just the beginning for them.

... As yet one more update on development progress - We're just missing localization as of current. Once it's in, we're launching!

HIGHLIGHTS

MechTek's Cargo Ship, fully realized at last. By Merly23.
