changedHi everyone, It’s been about a month since we put Endless Machines up on Steam, and we wanted to take a moment to check in and say hi.Centuries after its first steps, Katame awakens ... ... in the cold, unyielding confines of the concrete room where it was abandoned. The air is thick with dust, memories flickering in fragmented light from the few remaining functional screens lining the desolate hallways beyond. Faint whispers of the past pulse through the dim glow, but no voices remain to speak them. With careful steps, Katame crosses the threshold and is greeted by the sight of what seems like a never-ending horizon of lush nature, where millions of robots of all sizes meticulously tend to their designated tasks within the ecosystem. As Katame’s eyes carefully take in its surroundings, it experiences an overwhelming influx of data unlike anything before. But when its scanners reach an imposing monolithic structure looming in the distance, it freezes. Slowly, it scans every detail of the building’s surface until its gaze locks onto a stark, unbroken façade—save for the bold, towering letters etched across it: "G.O.D." As Katame draws closer, a smaller plaque catches its attention. There, carved into metal weathered by time, is a name it recognizes as its own. Next to it, seven more names stand in silent defiance of the centuries. Some stir a vague, haunting familiarity—shadows of something once known but long buried. Katame cannot yet discern who or what they belong to, but an undeniable truth settles deep within its core: these names represent family. And to move forward, it must find it's siblings. The "G.O.D." building towers above, a silent enigma calling from beyond the veil of time. What lies inside remains unknown, but Katame knows with absolute certainty that it cannot hesitate. The long-forgotten history buried within "G.O.D." is deeply connected to Katame and its lost siblings.

Hi everyone, It’s been about a month since we put Endless Machines up on Steam, and we wanted to take a moment to check in and say hi.

We thought this would be a good time to start sharing a bit more about the world we’re building. Over the next while, we’ll be mixing in bits of backstory, introducing some of the characters you’ll meet, and giving you a look at how we’re putting everything together—like that tilt-shift camera effect we get so many questions about.

For now, we’ll start by setting the scene—a little glimpse into the world as you’ll first discover it. Are you ready?

Disclaimer: Please remember that Endless Machines is still in development. As the game evolves, things that may seem like an integral part of the story right now could change or turn out not to work as we intended. As a result, they might not make it into the final version. This is a natural part of the process. Thank you for your support!
