Endless Machines changes
In May
... we received an email from Gaston asking whether the soundtrack for the game was already spoken for, and if not, he’d love to try his hand at it. We took a look at his portfolio, set up a call a few days later, and… well, something just clicked. From the very first tracks he shared, it was clear that he understood the tone of the world.
Also, in his first email, he casually wrote: “I’m really good at what I do.” We liked the confidence, and it turned out to be true — he really is.
Beyond being a composer, Gaston is also a dedicated gamer, and he has quickly become a natural part of the creative process. At this point, it’s honestly hard to imagine the game without his music.
A soundtrack release will definitely happen down the road. For now, here are a few short music clips from different biomes, so you can get a feel for the world as it breathes.
To give you a sense
... of the atmosphere, we’ve made a small video with four scenes from the game, each with music by Gaston: – Plain biome (KATAME) – Arctic biome (VELOS) – Desert biome (JOULE) – and inside an Oroboros Chyme
It’s a little tour through the sound of the world, as it stands today.

Playtest
Another update on the game:
Our very first playtest is coming up between Christmas and New Year. We’ll share more once we’re closer. It feels both exciting and slightly surreal.
Screenshots
It’s been a while since the last update, so here are a few fresh screenshots from the game:
Synapse — trading hubs where you can upgrade weapons and cosmetics:
Oroboros Chyme — battery stations that keep the energy grid running:
Trail.m8 Terminals — helpful terminals that show distance and direction to points of interest:

... following along as this game takes shape. Also, if you feel like saying hi or asking anything about the game, you’re very welcome to join our Discord. We’re always happy to chat and answer your questions (to the best of our ability), though sometimes it might take us a little while to get back to you. We’re a small team, but we promise we’ll get there. Talk soon, Cindy & Jonas Disclaimer: Please remember that Endless Machines is still in development. As the game evolves, things that may seem like an integral part of the story right now could change or turn out not to work as we intended. As a result, they might not make it into the final version. This is a natural part of the process. Thank you for your support!
