Elohim Eternal II: Son of Man changes
How long is the game?
The game is approximately 15 hours long.
Do I need to play the first game?
While not required, completing Elohim Eternal: The Babel Code is recommended for a fuller experience. Unlike video game series such as Final Fantasy and Tales of..., the Elohim Eternal series follows an overarching plot (similar to the Trails of Cold Steel series); however, each game in the series does present its own complete story. The game also features a "What Comes Before" feature so you can learn what occurred in games preceding this one.
What other games are in the series?
I like story-driven games, will this scratch the itch?
Definitely. This is a story-first game, reminiscent of the era Xenogears came out. However, if you do not like story in your games…please, please, please do not purchase this. This game is not for you.
I’m religious—will this offend my religion?
No. This game is meant to be pro-religion without being preachy. The game uses many religious symbols with a purpose (albeit, that purpose is mostly implied rather than explicit). Note that this is a fictional story and allegorical – it is not, and should not, displace your place of worship or your religious texts. I myself am a Greek Orthodox Christian.
I’m not religious and have had bad experiences with religion—will this be triggering or offensive?
No. This game invites people from all walks of life. While it uses Judeo-Christian symbolism at its core, it does not require an understanding of those beliefs. It is also not intended to be preachy. Rather, it is intended to have you ask questions, perhaps get interested, and seek that knowledge and research on your own should you choose to go down that path. Ultimately, the overall story—about hope, struggle, and sacrifice—is one we can all relate to regardless of creed.
