addedAdded a new “lite” game mode (available in both original and “peaceful” variants). Players still start with the same 10 minutes, but extra red alarm clocks have been placed around the map that temporarily pause the device’s timer. All achievements remain unlockable in this lite mode, but Rankings are disabled.
changedRed alarm-clock spawn points have been tweaked across all modes: one of them is now placed on the lower floors , giving players down there a shot at that crucial extra minute.
changedThe overturned chair on the first floor has been moved back to its original position from before the April updates. This applies to the original game modes; the layout is slightly different in the peaceful variant.
changedIn ranked modes, pressing Caps Lock now opens a separate interface related to the leaderboard. It displays your current run time, personal best and rank, as well as the global best time among all players. It might be useful for those who enjoy ranked play, speedrunning, etc.
addedIf you beat your personal best in the current run, the panel also updates to show your new rank and how much faster you reached the finish:

Hi, Ells&Pills is here!

This update includes the following changes:

  • Added a new “lite” game mode (available in both original and “peaceful” variants). Players still start with the same 10 minutes, but extra red alarm clocks have been placed around the map that temporarily pause the device’s timer. All achievements remain unlockable in this lite mode, but Rankings are disabled.

  • The original difficulty — NORMAL, exactly as it was before the April updates — is now effectively the “ranked” mode (available in both original and peaceful variants).

  • Red alarm-clock spawn points have been tweaked across all modes: one of them is now placed on the lower floors, giving players down there a shot at that crucial extra minute.

  • The overturned chair on the first floor has been moved back to its original position from before the April updates. This applies to the original game modes; the layout is slightly different in the peaceful variant.

  • Leaderboard logic has been completely rewritten: ratings now load automatically — no need to hit “REFRESH”. The only delay is the brief wait while the data comes in from Steam.

  • In ranked modes, pressing Caps Lock now opens a separate interface related to the leaderboard. It displays your current run time, personal best and rank, as well as the global best time among all players. It might be useful for those who enjoy ranked play, speedrunning, etc.

  • Also, a small QoL touch: the gap between your personal best and the global record is shown right in the panel:

  • If you beat your personal best in the current run, the panel also updates to show your new rank and how much faster you reached the finish:

  • The same goes for a bad run: it shows how much slower you were compared to your own record:

Best Regards, Ells&Pills
