Welcome, Wanderers!!
Today is a juicy patch for you all! We have been cooking away, drawing out the essence of the vessel! Literally! You are no longer a floating gun, but an enraged Soul! With HANDS!!! No arms though, too far out of budget. That’s right, you have a character you can actually see that represents your hunger for slimy souls. We have a bit more work to do for the Exterminator, but we are happy with the manifestation as it stands now. Look forward to seeing some of the more dynamic updates to the character.
Alongside the character, we went back to where it all started to rework the Forest map! No longer are you trapped in a square, or endlessly marching across the infinite wastes with a simple tree or lamp standing around. We have made the map more of a maze that you have to navigate. There are dead ends and alcoves that you could find yourself trapped within if you aren’t careful.
Alongside these changes comes an updated UI, reworked weapons passives, souls, and artifacts! These changes have been made to better balance the game and bring the experience together for you. In these updates comes a new Armor stat that decreases taken damage, a new Stat Boon you can choose to pad out your builds, and some new Bounce and Coil artifacts.

Added Armor, which decreases damage taken
Added a new type of Boon, a Stat boon, which replaces the Just Stats property
Added a variety of boons, and reworked every artifact, soul, rune, and gun passive

Changed the buff icon color of poison
Reworked how magnets work, they now give a stack of the Magnetize buff

Buff tooltips now say what they do rather than just their name
Removed Aura Size, pick up range is now used as aura range for most artifacts
Reworked enemy spawning to make it feel more dynamic

Added an SFX for when artifact cards are shown
Added an SFX for when trinkets are picked up

Lowered the volume of the level up sound

Improved the performance of Magnets
Improved loading speed of some maps

Reworked many UI elements

Added a VFX for Frenzy, Precise, and Quicken
Added an animation to buff icons for their duration
Added a scene transition for when the game is loading, so it doesn’t look like the game froze
Improved the visuals of ichor flasks, souls, and trinkets
Improved the visuals of the player’s projectiles
Improved the animation for when the pickup radius changes
Improved animations transitioning in and out of the artifact selection
Fixes
