Fellow Adventurers,

Today, we’re excited to announce that Eldegarde (formerly Legacy: Steel & Sorcery) has officially reached Gold Master.

Over the past year in Early Access, we’ve shipped four Seasonal Patches packed with major additions and improvements, including:

  • Two new classes: the Wizard and Paladin

  • Three new weapon types for existing classes

  • Four new maps

  • The Lodge progression system

  • Arena PvP

  • The Campaign Quest System

  • Fishing …and much more!

From the beginning, our goal with Early Access was to build Eldegarde alongside you, collaborating with the community throughout development to make this Gold Master release as strong as possible.

Through 28 Meet the Devs YouTube shows, we shared updates, answered your questions (unfiltered!) live, and listened closely to your feedback. That collaboration helped us deliver countless improvements, from class balance and tuning, to loot adjustments, and a steady stream of quality-of-life updates.

There’s still so much more we want to build for Eldegarde, but we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished in under a year and we hope you are too.

At its heart, Eldegarde is built to be the best PvPvE Extraction RPG possible. But during Early Access, the game expanded beyond that vision: with Arena PvP, a Social Hub, and now a dedicated PvE-only mode, Eldegarde has grown into something we call a Mini MMO, with multiple ways to play, depending on what you’re looking for.

If we’re given the honor to keep growing this world with you, we hope to expand Eldegarde with even more content and experiences in the future, and continue bringing the full Mini MMO vision to life.

To our community - thank you. And to our new players joining us today - welcome!

Notorious is still a small studio, so our final request is simple: if you enjoy Eldegarde, please share it with your friends and communities. It helps us more than you know.

Thanks again, and have fun.
