Now your group of friends can play the game together with just one player with the purchased full game. These are the differences between the paid game and the Friend Pass:

New Brawl Game: Union Buster 👊

This is a playful take on whack-a-mole with a satirical theme about silencing protest. In our previous iteration, the first round is always the Overcooked-inspired "Let Them Eat Cake". It's one of our most involved minigames. We think that a much simpler minigame like this would serve as a good alternative first round brawl game.

Friend's Pass 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

We're excited to announce that we've turned our demo into a Friend Pass! This Friend Pass is free to install and now share the same server with those who purchased the game. Now your group of friends can play the game together with just one player with the purchased full game. These are the differences between the paid game and the Friend Pass:

  • Friend Pass cannot create private lobbies. Only Paid Games can create lobbies.

  • Friend Pass can join Private Lobbies through friend invite or room code.

  • Friend Pass players cannot unlock new cosmetics.

  • Friend Pass can try out the game as a solo player with a lobby full of bots.

Merged Voting Phase 🗳️

As another step to further simplify the game's structure, we've combined Discussion and Voting into one single phase. Now that we have teleporters inside the Private Tents, we expect most of the meaningful strategic conversations to happen there, particularly because you can have private talks and can conspire more effectively. We expect the Voting Phase to be much faster paced now, with just some quick last ditch efforts to rally votes.

Bug Fixes

  • Added shader precompiling on the Title Screen to resolve an issue with lobby creation.

  • In Corporate Rivals, fixed an issue with bots sometimes getting stuck.
