EarthRoyale 3 changes
Sorry for this update taking a long time, been doing a lot of stuff that has stopped me from spending time working on it, at the same time had to basically rework the load in system and expand on file data for countries and more, should be near the end of the update cycle now though. the size of the internal changes has made me re consider this as a minor update and bumped it up to beta 3, since i apparently can't do minor updates anymore, they just automatically become huge from nowhere this devlog might change in the future to be more specific due to lack of time to look back at old notes and the game itself
many changes as most likely been left out.
New load in system that supports both internal map load in and file map load in
main menu is now back and accessible
entity name and entity data (such as country) is now divided in their own files so that language files only need to include the name and no data
entity data files now include "data colour, base colour, border colour"
continents and subcontinents also include "internal on off switch name"
subcontinents also include their respective continents "internal on off switch name"
countries data file now includes colour timers, current colours, funding status, strength and much more that i honestly don't remember right now and don't got time to look up
Notification text now supports multiple colours and font sizes
Notifications are now saved to daily lists instead of immediately added to the text and then are added all at once each day in specific order and only 1 date text above for the day
country names are now always black in notifications
war notifications are now in red
peaceful notifications are now in green
unknown status yet notifications are now in yellow
flood notifications are now in gray
terraforming notifications are now in brown
funding notifications are now gray and smaller
funding notifications related to countries at war and donation notifications are now whiter gray and less smaller
date text is now bigger, white and underlined
added hidden command menu
added 3 main commands (not accessible in current version due to me having issues with the open menu button not working)
Event
Has Following Subevents 1.Divide 2.AnnexVote 3.WarVote 4.Rebellion each one needs to be followed by 1 or 2 country names with rebellion needing 1 culture name
Strength Followed by country name and then strength number or "Locked" to lock the strength or "UnLocked" to unlock it
Funding has following sub commands Fund DeFund RanOut ScrapingBarrel each one needs to be followed by 1 country names
More commands are half done such as "Sink, No Peace, change name, invincible, Event Peace, Terrain Events" and more
Updated strength system to be more fun gameplay wise
Updated strength system to make countries run out of resources easier and if they got 0 of their own culture left
buffed naval invasion ranges
in divide event random countries are added in naval invasions to give them a chance to join the war
fixed a bunch of bugs, specially related to the new subcontinent toggles but got a lot to do so can't document it all atm
