We're getting ready for our demo release early next year!
The coolest part has been working on the opening cutscene. We're going "Max Payne style" with comic book-like panels, music, and narration to tell the story. The demo will include the beginning of the Earthlings story too. Here's an initial sketch and a finished (but deleted) scene, so you can see how it started and how it's shaping up.
After observing players at Comic Con Vienna and PlayIT Budapest, we redesigned our user interface (for about the 9th time, haha) to make it more intuitive. Getting the monument creator right was quite a challenge, but we finally reached a version we're happy with (for now?).
Now it's time for some final polishing and a bit of end of year/Christmas vibes.
