addedWe will keep on working through the dead of night to bring you the Major Update as soon as inhumanly possible, we're even adding some extra things in the upcoming update to further your experience even more!
changedOn that note, we need to talk about overall deadlines: we can't promise exact dates. Honestly, the overall development team is extremely small, and we've been noticing how pushing everyone for early release dates can ultimately only either end up as a bad release (no one wants that) or a health issue (we hope no one wants that either). Working on this Major Update has taught us that, while we still need to strive for a good release schedule, estimating a date will mostly do more harm than good to you, with specific expectations, and to the team. So, going forward, we will not announce specific dates for updates, but will do our best to have more smaller and frequent ones instead.
addedItem Bag Randomizer Sneak Peek:We're also working on implementing many other things, not only the other ones listed in our Roadmap (like the Quest System, new playable Employee, Main Weapon Evolutions, etc), but also brushing up on more dialogues and the company's overall narrative. That means finally adding Rogue's initial cutscene (it took some time to bribe him to accept talking more), the quest to gather new employees, new boons, artifacts and much, much more!

We've decided to make an overall post about our current efforts towards the first Major Update of the game and what to expect. It's been a little while since we've made one of these in here, and Inhuman Resourcers started threatening us about it.

We'll not sugar-coat things, after all, sugar is expensive around here: some bumps were hit in the past month, leading to an unforeseen delay and a schedule change. Due to that, the First Major Update has been delayed for a couple of weeks.

While that is unfortunate, we urge you to keep your hopes up, because development has not stopped and is progressing steadily, just at a slightly-slower pace than it was originally predicted. The main issue is concerning our art/design pipeline, and we can't release most things without actual visuals for it, unfortunately. But even in situations like this, our company is professional and capable, so we've been sneaking some unpaid extra hours to bring you some updates here and there since then, even going as far as getting a couple of features ahead of schedule for you living souls, like the Office Challenges system and the status effect revamp.

And until then, we've prepared some little spoilers of what's coming in this Major Update, provided exclusively through internal bribery.

That's it for this quick update. Once again, thanks for your understanding!
