E-Lich: Corporate Souls changes
It's been a couple of days since we last talked, or was it just yesterday? Sorry, we have been working nonstop, so time is but an illusion by now. Well, you're welcome, because we have cool things for you!
While we're still working on your feedback and some cool new things we've teased on our roadmap, we wanted to get you started with some cool and important new features.
And while you can read all about them in the changelog, Upper Management is making me tell you specifically about the Business Growth Feature (or you can just skip all my monologue and read the changelog, I won't snitch).
Business Growth
One of the main things that drive living souls is tangible progress, and, coincidentally, that's also one of the main things that drives a corporation. So we decided to combine the two and make your progress become linked to the company's growth!
Now, you can talk to the Accounting Mage in the Lobby and, instead of just brushing you off, he will help you keep track of the souls you've collected, and use them to improve the company (and us too, I guess)! Unlock furniture, decorations, renovations, features, rooms, boons and much more through your hard work!

THE BUSINESS GROWTH FEATURE IS HERE!
Now doing your job and collecting souls during a run actually benefits the company!
Meta Progression is now handled through the Business Growth
This means some boons, lobby items and features are now locked by default and must be unlocked by progressing through the Business Growth
New NPC - Inhuman Resources Manager!
Revamped and Improved Loading Screen
Added new Animated Portraits for all characters and NPCs!
New revamped art for the last few remaining older boons!
Added a new Gameplay Setting: "Show HP Value" (Discord Suggestion!)
Can display/hide the current HP value in the player's HUD
This currently looks tiny in-game, we know, but it will be improved later on!
Small UI improvements to the Character Select screen
Balancing
The cap for Dash Charges was increased from 8 to 10
Although never mentioned in text, this is noticeable from the Dash Bar UI, which only had enough room for 8 charges, and now accommodates 10
Reworked the damage calculation of Hero bosses' attack abilities and rebalanced them to be more fair
Added new attack abilities to the second Hero boss
Fixes
Fixed a bug that caused the player to accidentally skip dialogue when pressing the interaction key to instantly complete the typewriter effect
Improved the stability of dialogue interactions
Improved loading times and heavily reduced the "game froze" sensation during loading
Fixed the Dash Bar UI breaking when gaining a dash charge over the limit
Fixed Loading Screen freezes
Fixed Hail & Thunder spells' VFX being destroyed as soon as they hit an enemy
Fixed Weather Effects not being immediately destroyed on scene change
Fixed a bug on the Results Screen that inflated the number of killed enemies displayed
Fixed Stage Modifiers stacking their values after each run and inflating stats
Removed redundant script checks on enemy spawn that should reduce lag spikes
