Dear friends of the fiery furnaces, it’s time to give the anvil a proper cleanup too.

Progression and crafting are core parts of Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot, but in previous versions we noticed several issues in some growth paths: too many steps, unclear feedback, and high cost of trial and error - one wrong choice could slow down the entire run.

In the full release, we focused on three main goals: reducing operation burden, improving result feedback, and increasing build tolerance. We’ve made multiple process and feature improvements to the forging and potion systems, so that every choice you make is clearer - you’ll better understand exactly how much stronger this step will make you.

New Content

  • Forge recipes now show a preview of the final item on the anvil

  • Potion usage will now be recorded in the dwarf’s history

Adjustments & Improvements

  • Placing items on the anvil will now display obtainable stat bonuses

  • Advanced Shop button will be highlighted when activated for the first time

  • Potions of Growth can now be used multiple times to override growth stat imprints

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where potions could not be sorted correctly

  • Fixed an issue where some potions could not be used

  • Fixed an issue where potions were not unlocked correctly

Now forging is no longer blind hammering, and drinking potions is no longer pure gambling.
