Lets look at today's changes.

What's been changed?

First lets take a look at the new QoL features:

  • Added temporary tooltip to the magnifying glass. When hovering over a suspect in the suspect list, there will now be a small "Click for more information" text at the bottom.

  • Added temporary tooltip when grabbing pen

  • Added temporary tooltip when grabbing rubber

  • Added temporary tooltip to first tutorial level for investigating and arresting roles.

And now some bug fixes:

  • Fixed bug where conman could pretend to be a not in play role (caused by the Barkeep turning that role into a drunkard)

  • Fixed bug with Faulty Clock quirk causing time showed to be wildly different from real time.

  • Fixed bug with Broken Clock quirk causing Clock Tower to never ring.

  • Fixed crash that could occur with a hitman in play and the Deadly Aim quirk.

  • Fixed bug with Bad Influences that would cause there to be 2 identical underlings in play.

What's next?

Again thanks to the people in the GRG Discord for the feedback and reports!

  • We have redesigned the wife, mistress, doppelganger, chatterbox, bounty hunter, milkman, stalker, preacher, conman, and judge. So expect to see those being implemented in the next patch or two.

  • We have added some temporary context popups, but we want to re-do them properly soon that extend beyond the tutorial in a more useful way. You will be able to turn this feature off in the settings when its added.

  • The ability to see normal roles announcement text in the breakdown is currently bugged and we are going to fix that next patch.

  • We want to add coloured string as tool on the left side, the idea would be that you can use string to connect pins together to help notate connections.

  • A rework for case generation is due soon to help correct the difficulty/complexity estimations, improve board quality, and prevent more 50-50 scenarios.

  • A few bugs have been reported in the discord we plan to look into and address soon.
