changedVR Hardware compatbility has been on the top of our list to fix since the Steam VR launch of Dungeons of Eternity. This small update addresses this issue, namely issues with controllers and orentiation of hands in-game. Othergate would like to thank the users who helped beta test these fixes!
changedIf you'd like to manually adjust the angles, you can check the "adjust controller angles" settings menu.
addedAnother feature worth noting is a new checkbox in the Graphic Settings menu to sync the framerate and physics updates. At launch, this was defaulted to ON, which results in smooth gameplay when running at framerate. However, this could lead to a "slow-mo" experience if not running at framerate, which happened for many reasons (hardware differences, graphics not tuned, eye buffers too large, etc.) We have defaulted this to OFF for Steam VR, but we recommend switching to ON and balancing your graphics settings for the smoothest experience !
changedThat's not all... the small update also features other fixes, improvements, balancing tweaks. More detail on those features in a follow-up Dev Post coming soon.

Couple Notes:

  • If you used any community bindings for your controllers, you may want to switch back to the game defaults. Additionally, if you were testing any of the betas, you will want to switch back to the default live build.

  • If you'd like to manually adjust the angles, you can check the "adjust controller angles" settings menu.
